About the SupportBot ‑ AI Support Chat
SupportBot is an AI support chat that answers customer questions using your store's products, pages, blog posts, policies, and FAQs. It works with theme-rendered FAQs and localized storefront content within plan limits. All plans respond in the customer's language, while the merchant admin stays in English. Growth plans and higher include live catalog search, product comparisons, variant selections, verified order and return status for signed-in customers, and customer-requested cart actions. The bot adds items to cart and connects to Shopify Checkout. When questions go unanswered, they're forwarded to your support team via email or Slack.
