About the Store MCP

Store MCP connects your Shopify store to Claude and other MCP-compatible AI assistants. Ask about products, stock levels, and customer orders using plain language and get answers from your current store data. Set up view-only or management permissions for each assistant and choose which stores they can access. With paid plans, you can create and update products, manage product images, adjust inventory by location, and handle fulfillment tasks through conversation. Customer order cancellations need your approval in Store MCP before processing, while complete refunds are handled directly in Shopify. The app also works with eBay, Square, and WooCommerce, though available actions differ by platform. Review your assistant's action history and configure order notifications through the Store MCP website to stay informed about changes made to your store.
