About the Metafield Expiry

Metafield Expiry automates product expiry actions based on metafield date/time values. The app automatically unpublishes products from your Online Store or sets them to draft or archived status when their expiry date passes. You can configure this functionality in Shopify Flow, but it requires significant time to design, test, and maintain. Date comparisons, scheduled workflow runs, and iterating through multiple products can be challenging within Flow's limits. This app simplifies the process: just select your metafield and choose an action. Metafield values work with existing tools like Bulk Editor, product CSV import, or other metafield management solutions. No Shopify Flow workflow needed. The app includes an activity log so you can track which products have been updated automatically, giving you full visibility into expiry actions.
