About the Valmont Tax Flag Guard
Valmont Tax Flag Guard helps you catch unwanted changes to product tax settings before they cause problems. When you run catalog imports or bulk edits, variant tax settings can accidentally change. This app compares your current Charge tax settings against a baseline you've approved, showing you exactly which variants need review.
Run manual scans or set up hourly automatic checks to monitor up to 5,000 variants. The app provides clear before-and-after evidence for every change detected, with direct links to open affected variants in Shopify. You can accept intentional changes individually and track both resolution and recurrence through CSV exports and scan history.
The app uses read-only access only and displays findings directly in the interface. It does not determine taxability, calculate tax amounts, or verify checkout taxes. No email alerts are sent.
