About the TrueTag: Serial QR & Warranty

TrueTag gives every product unit its own unique serial number and QR code for anti-counterfeiting protection. Unlike standard Shopify SKU tracking, this app lets customers verify authenticity by scanning the QR label on their item - no app or login required. Serials are assigned automatically when orders come in or at fulfillment, or you can create them in bulk for inventory you want to label ahead of time. Print QR code labels free on any plan using plain paper or peel-and-stick sheets, then attach them to products or packaging. When customers scan the QR code, they see proof the item is genuine, product details, and warranty information if applicable. Warranty coverage and expiry dates display automatically, or skip warranties entirely if not needed. The app also flags counterfeit scans by detecting serials you never issued or codes scanned from multiple locations. Buyer details remain private and are never shown on verification pages.
