About the SwapBack Returns & Exchanges
SwapBack is a return and exchange tracking workspace built directly into Shopify Admin. Customers submit return requests or replacement requests through your store-specific portal using order and email verification. Staff can review each request, approve or decline returns, record replacement variant choices, and track receipt status—all without leaving Shopify. Create return authorization PDFs or attach your own merchant documents. Export CSV reports and access complete activity logs for every request. Note that SwapBack focuses on request management and tracking. It does not process refunds, generate replacement orders, offer store credit options, or purchase carrier postage. Handle those tasks separately through Shopify Admin or your shipping carrier account.
