About the Lifeboat ‑ Backup & Restore

Lifeboat automatically backs up your products and inventory quantities once daily, with the option to create manual backups anytime. When you need to restore data, simply open a backup and select what to put back. Product restoration includes title, price, variants, tags, and custom fields, rolling everything back to the selected date. Deleted products can be recreated with their original cost, HS code, and inventory tracking settings intact. Stock restoration works per location, showing you both current quantities and backed-up quantities before you write changes. Any stock sold after the preview remains untouched, protecting your recent sales data. The app also flags potential issues in each backup, highlighting active products with zero price, no stock, or missing images. Note: Lifeboat handles products and stock only. It doesn't back up images, collections, themes, orders, or customer data.
