Shadow COD helps you reduce cash-on-delivery returns by hiding the COD payment option at checkout for customers with a confirmed COD return history. The app automatically learns from your tagged returned orders and builds a private memory of how each buyer's past COD orders ended—delivered or returned. You stay in control with a simple risk dial (Conservative, Balanced, or Observe mode) plus manual allow and block lists. The app never blocks sales; customers with a COD-RTO history simply use a prepaid payment method instead. First-time buyers and good customers see no change at checkout.
