About the SecureBite API Proxy

SecureBite API Proxy lets you call third-party APIs from your Shopify storefront without exposing API keys or running into CORS restrictions. Create secure proxy routes through the admin panel to reach any HTTPS API while keeping your credentials and headers hidden server-side. The app handles both common API challenges: preventing API keys from appearing in your page source and bypassing browser CORS blocks. You define the complete request configuration in the app rather than your theme, so your storefront only sends the variables you permit. Security features include single-use tokens, required field validation, and customer login protection for every route. The built-in scanner checks your theme for leaked API keys and helps you migrate them to secure server-side routes. Built on Cloudflare's global edge network for reliable performance. Works seamlessly with Sidekick to draft new routes from API examples or get setup guidance.
