About the RNS Inventory Notes
RNS Inventory Notes helps you track stock changes with custom reasons, staff notes, and accountability. When inventory levels shift, you'll know exactly why it happened, who made the change, and how much value was affected by damage, loss, or theft.
Staff can adjust stock using your own reasons while adding notes and their names to each transaction. The app shows units moving in and out, plus calculates the total value of damaged and lost stock each month. Made a mistake? You can undo it while keeping both entries in your history for complete transparency.
The Pro version includes full inventory history with filters, monthly totals, and CSV export capabilities. It also features a refund restock guard that automatically takes tagged refunded items back off sale after Shopify restocks them, preventing overselling of returned merchandise.
