About the Release Desk
Release Desk provides a morning review queue for managing fulfillment holds, high-risk orders, and customer cancel requests before shipping. The app helps you catch exceptions by confirming holds first, preventing warehouse fulfillment from processing until you manually release orders.
The queue displays unheld high-risk orders, fulfillment holds, and address holds from other apps. Cancel requests are polled from Shopify events with a minutes delay since there's no official cancel-request webhook available. You can agree, decline, or resolve requests directly on the native order banner.
This app works with your existing workflow and does not hard-stop 3PL-managed locations, giving you control over order exceptions while maintaining flexibility with third-party logistics operations.
