Proxy Checkout lets shoppers send their live cart to someone else who will complete the payment. Perfect for gift purchases or when another person needs to pay, this app adds a simple cart action that creates a secure handoff between shopper and payer. When a shopper shares their cart, all selected products, quantities, and subscription choices stay connected. The payer receives the request, reviews everything, then continues to your native checkout where inventory, discounts, shipping, tax, currency, and payment are confirmed in real-time. Setup is straightforward—connect your Proxy account and enable the cart-action app embed. You maintain full control over order management, refunds, and fulfillment through your existing store processes.
