About the MT: Serial & Lot Tracking

MT: Serial & Lot Tracking lets you record and manage serial numbers and lots with expiry dates in one simple tool. Assign serials directly on orders by scanning QR codes with any phone (no login needed), using a USB scanner, typing manually, or picking from your stock list. Each serial number can only be assigned once, preventing duplicate assignments. Strict product matching stops mistakes, and every assignment is logged and written to the order as a metafield for easy tracking on invoices and emails. Search any serial or lot to find its order in seconds—perfect for warranty claims and product recalls. Email alerts warn you before lots in stock expire. Releases are automatically tracked, and CSV export is included for reporting.
