About the Margin Guard
Margin Guard protects your profit margins when offering discounts at Shopify POS. Set your minimum gross margin, and the app calculates the maximum safe discount you can apply based on product costs and current cart value. Staff can view the cart's gross margin in real-time and apply discounts directly from POS without dropping below your margin floor. When the minimum margin is reached, additional discounting is automatically disabled, helping merchants maintain profitability while still offering competitive pricing to customers.
