About the Konto IS
Konto IS connects your Shopify store to the Konto invoicing system for automatic legal Icelandic invoice creation. When an order is paid, the app generates a compliant invoice with correct VAT, buyer's kennitala, and complete order details. Business buyers who provide their kennitala at checkout automatically receive an XML e-invoice through Iceland's official message hub. The app adds a kennitala field directly to your checkout form for proper VAT invoicing. Refunds are handled seamlessly—credit notes are created automatically and linked to the original invoice. One-click setup makes connecting your Konto account simple. A Konto account is required to use this app.
