About the InvoicePilot ‑ EU Invoicing
InvoicePilot automatically creates legal e-invoices for every paid order in your Shopify store. The app generates compliant, sequentially numbered invoices in Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, or UBL format to meet EU requirements. France mandates e-invoicing from September 2026, Belgium requires structured B2B invoices now, and Germany is phasing in compliance. Each invoice is a hybrid PDF with embedded XML (EN 16931 standard) or UBL for PEPPOL networks. The app handles credit notes on refunds and emails documents to buyers in their language. Collect and validate buyer VAT numbers through VIES without needing Shopify Plus—reverse charge applies automatically. Your accountant receives one ZIP file per month with all invoices, making tax compliance simple and organized.
