About the InvoiceAnvil ‑ EU Invoicing

InvoiceAnvil turns every paid Shopify order into a compliant e-invoice with sequential, gapless numbering. Perfect for merchants preparing for France's September 2026 e-invoicing mandate, Belgium's B2B structured invoice requirements, and Germany's phasing regulations. The app generates legal invoices in multiple formats: Factur-X and ZUGFeRD hybrid PDFs with embedded XML (EN 16931 standard), plus UBL e-invoices for PEPPOL networks. Each invoice appears in the buyer's language, and credit notes are automatically created for refunds. Buyer VAT numbers are collected directly from your cart and VIES-validated, enabling proper reverse charge handling without needing Shopify Plus. Monthly ZIP archives keep your accountant happy, while customers receive their invoices by email. Note: InvoiceAnvil creates compliant documents but doesn't transmit them to government portals.
