About the Import Warden

Import Warden lets you update products, collections, pages, and blog posts directly from spreadsheets. Simply copy a range from Google Sheets or Excel and paste it into the app—no file uploads or CSV conversions needed. The app automatically matches column headers to the right fields in your store. Columns it doesn't recognize are ignored, not rejected. You choose one column as the key identifier, typically a SKU or handle. Before applying changes, the review screen shows exactly what will update, what stays unchanged, and any rows that matched nothing or are ambiguous. Every old value appears beside its new one for easy verification. Nothing gets written to your store until you confirm. Blank cells never clear existing data—only the columns you paste are updated. The app supports products, collections, pages, blog posts, and metafields. Every import is tracked, so you can undo changes row by row if needed, with each write recording the value it replaced.
