About the Handcount Stocktake

Handcount lets you run a stocktake while your shop stays open. Staff count inventory from any phone browser—no app download or account needed, and it works offline. Create counts for one location or filter by vendor and product type. Choose between cycle counts that leave untouched items alone or full counts that zero uncounted stock. Multiple people can count the same location simultaneously, seeing each other's totals in real time. Every line shows who counted it and includes space for notes. Items that can't be scanned get typed into the admin table, with the counting screen available in twelve languages. Nothing changes your Shopify stock levels until you apply the count. When shelf quantities and Shopify disagree, review each item individually before applying under your chosen adjustment reason. The system holds back items that moved during counting. Compare counts over time to spot recurring discrepancies. Export results as CSV or undo adjustments if needed.
