About the Faktora ‑ EU E‑Invoicing
Faktora turns your Shopify orders into legally compliant e-invoices that meet German requirements. It generates XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, and Peppol BIS formats — all EN 16931 compliant and ready for the German e-invoicing mandate.
The app automatically applies correct German VAT rates (19%, 7%, §19 UStG, reverse charge, intra-community supply, and export rules). Every invoice gets sequential GoBD-friendly numbering and passes the official KOSIT validator used by German public administration.
You get hybrid PDF files with machine-readable XML embedded, making them compatible with both automated systems and manual review. Create invoices with one click from any order, or set them to generate automatically when payment is received. Credit notes are supported too, and you can create invoices retroactively for past orders.
