About the Checkout Guard
Checkout Guard lets merchants display custom terms and conditions during Shopify checkout while collecting shopper acknowledgement. Create versioned policies with your own content, select which version to make active, and add the Checkout Guard block to your checkout page. When validation is turned on and Shopify allows checkout blocking, customers must check the acknowledgement box before they can complete their purchase. The app automatically saves a policy-linked record to order metafields for your reference. Manage multiple policy versions, publish updates as needed, and present clear terms at checkout. Merchants stay responsible for their policy content and app settings.
