Certly manages the complete lifecycle of US resale certificates and tax exemption certificates for B2B wholesale stores. Your customers upload their tax-exempt certificate PDF directly from their account page—no email back-and-forth needed. The AI reads and extracts key fields including buyer name, state, certificate ID, and expiration date automatically.
Review and approve certificates in one click. Once approved, Certly marks the customer tax-exempt in Shopify and adds the appropriate tags. The app sends automatic renewal reminders at 60, 30, and 7 days before expiration, and expired certificates are handled automatically so you never mistakenly charge tax-exempt status to buyers with outdated documentation.
