About the Reroute
Reroute helps you turn out of stock products into sales by showing relevant alternatives when items are unavailable or discontinued. When customers land on a product page that doesn't fit their needs, this app displays similar products, newer models, own brand alternatives, or graded stock options directly on the page.
Choose from six block types to match different scenarios: out of stock items, discontinued products, newer models, similar products, own brand suggestions, and open-box stock. You can map product alternatives manually or use automatic suggestions powered by Shopify's Recommendations API.
The app works straight from the Theme Editor with no coding required. Display options include inline or popup formats with list, grid, and carousel layouts. It supports 37 languages with customisable translations, making it perfect for international stores. Reroute converts dead-end traffic effectively and complements back in stock notifiers for customers ready to buy now.
