About the Handcount Stocktake
Handcount lets you run a stocktake while your shop stays open. Staff can count inventory from any phone browser without downloading an app or creating an account. Multiple people can work on the same location count at once, seeing each other's totals in real time.
Create counts for one location or filter by vendor or product type. Choose a cycle count to leave untouched items alone, or run a full count that zeros anything nobody counted. The counting screen works in twelve languages and functions offline. In Shopify POS, your team can scan items from the register using the camera or a hardware scanner.
Every line shows who counted it and includes space for notes. Nothing changes your stock levels until you apply the count, and items that moved during counting are automatically held back. You can type uncounted items directly into the admin table, compare counts with earlier stocktakes to spot missing inventory, export results as CSV, or undo a count if needed.
