About the Handcount Stocktake
Handcount makes inventory stocktakes simple by letting multiple staff count stock at once from any phone browser. No app installation or Shopify account needed — just share a link and your team can start scanning barcodes immediately. Create a count, select your location, and watch as everyone's totals appear live in real-time.
Staff can use Bluetooth scanners or their phone camera to scan items, and counting continues even offline with automatic syncing when connection returns. You can also enter quantities directly into the admin table. The system intelligently handles stock that moved in Shopify during the count by flagging conflicts instead of overwriting data. Any applied count can be undone if needed. Accurate inventory counts mean fewer oversells and lost sales for your store.
