About the Webbit
Webbit speeds up your Shopify store by converting product images to WebP format without changing your layout. The app automatically compresses product photos and swaps them in place while keeping image order, featured images, and variant images exactly as they were. Your original images stay safely backed up in Files, so nothing gets lost.
Alt Writer adds SEO-friendly AI alt text to your images in bulk, helping improve your store's search visibility. Autopilot mode compresses every new product automatically, so you don't have to do it manually. Speed Lab runs Google PageSpeed tests to show you the real impact on your store's performance. Start with 100 images per month and make your store faster while keeping everything organized.
