About the Amethyst AI Video Alt Text

Search engines can't see your product photos or watch your videos, and screen readers can't describe them to visitors. Alt text solves this problem by providing text descriptions of your visual content. This app uses AI to automatically write alt text for your product images and videos. It analyzes each image and video preview frame, uses your product names for context, and saves accurate descriptions directly to Shopify in your store's language. The app only fills in blank or generic alt text, so any descriptions you've already written stay untouched. After the initial setup with one click, new products are handled automatically. You can review old and new alt text side by side, export everything to CSV, or undo changes instantly. Pro users get SEO file name suggestions for every image and video. Nothing gets added to your theme.
