Valmont Media Guard tracks product media and variant images after catalog imports to catch losses before they affect your store. The app compares your current catalog against an approved baseline and shows clear before-and-after evidence when media goes missing or variant images change. Run manual checks after imports or enable hourly monitoring to stay on top of catalog changes. Review findings to confirm intentional updates, keep missing-image alerts visible, and export evidence as CSV files for your records. The app provides read-only coverage for up to 500 products, 5,000 variants, and 20,000 media records. Note that it doesn't include image backups, automatic repairs, storefront checks, or email alerts—it focuses on detection and reporting so you can take action when catalog imports cause media problems.
