When you link a product option like Color, Size, or Material to a Shopify metafield, that option becomes locked in your admin. You can't rename values, add new options, or delete them through the standard Shopify interface anymore. Normally, unlocking these requires using the GraphQL Admin API—creating a custom app, obtaining access tokens, and running complex mutations. This process takes hours for most merchants. Unlock Options solves this with one-click unlocking for any locked product option. The app automatically lists every locked product in your store, so there's no manual searching required.
