About the ToySafetyKit
ToySafetyKit displays essential EU toy safety information directly on your product pages without any coding required. The app shows the crossed-out 0-3 age symbol from Annex V of Directive 2009/48/EC, the CE marking, age grading, and your custom warning statements exactly as they appear on the toy packaging.
All safety information is stored in product metafields that the app automatically creates during installation. You maintain full control by entering your own warning text to ensure consistency between your product pages and physical packaging. The app also includes a field for digital product passports.
Built with pure Liquid code, ToySafetyKit runs without JavaScript, meaning no impact on page speed and no customer data collection. Each product can display its own specific warnings, test standards, and age recommendations, giving EU toy buyers the safety details they expect to see before purchasing.
