TagGuard: Script Tag Auditor

TagGuard audits all script tags and app embeds across your Shopify storefront before the 2027 ScriptTag API deadline. Since Shopify's API only shows your own app's tags, TagGuard reads your live storefront HTML and theme liquid files to find scripts injected by third-party apps, hard-coded theme scripts, and app embed switches that are turned ON or OFF per theme. The app maps 86 vendors and provides vendor attribution, migration paths to web pixels or app embeds, and contact emails for cleanup. It includes a CI-friendly CLI for developers. TagGuard is read-only and safe. Note that password-protected or bot-protected stores may require a manual check to complete the audit.
