When a sale happens, Shopify only deducts stock from the purchased variant, but Spot automatically finds matching SKUs in the same location group and syncs the stock change there too. This keeps retail, warehouse, and online inventory separate while staying aligned by location. No need to force SKU forks or merge all locations into one pool.
