About the ShopCanary
ShopCanary monitors your store for silent failures that don't throw errors but cost you money. It checks every order against discount and shipping rules you set up, then alerts you when something doesn't match. You'll see the order number, which rule failed, and what went wrong—expected versus actual values.
The app also watches your Google Merchant Center feed for product disapprovals and ID changes that happen overnight. When a rule starts failing, ShopCanary flags any discount edits that coincide with the timing. You can exclude specific products or currencies so exceptions don't trigger false alerts.
ShopCanary reports on its own health too, so if monitoring stops running, you'll know immediately. No more discovering problems only after customers complain about incorrect charges or missing free shipping.
