About the Shopatch Theme Audit
Shopatch Theme Audit runs accessibility and legal checks on your Shopify theme code, color schemes, product catalog, and store policies. Each finding shows you the exact file, location, and where to fix it in your Shopify admin. Check unpublished themes before they go live to catch issues before customers see them.
The app tests contrast across every color scheme, validates alt text, and identifies keyboard traps and focus problems against WCAG 2.1 AA standards. When code changes are needed, you can commission fixes directly in the app. Track your progress with history that shows what's new, what's been fixed, and what came back.
The audit reads your theme code without changing anything in your store and doesn't issue certificates. Run it on both live and unpublished themes to maintain accessibility compliance.
