About the ShipFence State Restrictions
ShipFence helps merchants enforce shipping restrictions for regulated products like alcohol, CBD, vape, and tobacco. Create rules by product, collection, or tag to block orders to specific US states or ZIP codes. When customers try to check out with a restricted address, the order is blocked with a clear message before payment is processed. Restrictions work directly inside Shopify checkout, so they apply to Buy Now and express checkouts, and continue working even when you change your theme. The app includes ready-made rule templates for common regulated products, logs every blocked checkout for compliance audits, and supports bulk import and export of rules via CSV. Stay compliant and prevent restricted shipments before they happen.
