About the Ship One Box

Ship One Box helps you save on shipping costs when an order contains both ready-to-ship items and preorder or backorder items at the same warehouse location. The app automatically holds the ready shipment so it doesn't leave alone, then waits for the delayed shipment to become available. Once the preorder or backorder is ready to ship, Ship One Box releases the hold and combines both shipments into one fulfillment. This means your warehouse only needs to pack one box instead of two separate packages. The app then refunds the extra shipping charge to your customer while keeping the higher shipping amount. Ship One Box works specifically on single orders where both shipments share the same location. It won't move items between locations, merge separate customer orders, or automatically mark orders as fulfilled.
