About the Sample Studio
Sample Studio lets customers order material samples through your store's checkout with separate inventory tracking. Perfect for tiles, fabrics, wallpaper, or finishes, this app pairs your full-size products with dedicated sample products that maintain their own price and stock levels.
Add an "Order a sample" button to your product pages using the theme editor—no code editing required. Each sample must be set up as an active, single-variant product with inventory tracking enabled and overselling turned off. The sample button automatically disables when inventory runs out.
Customers purchase samples through your regular cart and checkout process at the sample product's price. Publish samples to your Online Store and specific markets where you sell them, keeping complete control over sample availability and pricing separate from your full-size products.
