About the RipeLedger: Expiry & FEFO

RipeLedger helps you track perishable inventory by batch and expiry date using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) method. See exactly how much money is at risk of spoiling in 7, 14, and 30-day buckets before stock becomes waste. The app fills Shopify's gap in batch and expiry tracking for perishable goods. Import your existing lots via CSV, mark down near-expiry products with a built-in margin floor, and record write-offs when needed. Trace any lot back to specific orders and customers who received it. Automate daily markdowns to move aging stock faster and receive weekly money-at-risk email alerts. The app also helps forecast demand and draft purchase orders based on your inventory data. Built specifically for grocery stores, food and beverage businesses, supplement retailers, and cosmetics shops that need to manage perishable stock and reduce spoilage costs. Note that Shopify POS support is currently on the roadmap.
