About the RepairIndexKit

RepairIndexKit helps merchants selling electronics or appliances to France comply with French AGEC law by displaying the mandatory repairability index (indice de reparabilite) on product pages. The app shows an official-style colour badge for each product, featuring the 0-10 score with the correct colour band from red to green, a plain-language verdict, product category, year, and a link to the required scoring sheet. Product data comes from metafields, so every item displays its own repairability index. Built with pure Liquid code and no JavaScript, RepairIndexKit has zero impact on page speed. Simply add the block through the theme editor—no coding required.
