Remedy scans your Shopify store for accessibility issues using axe-core, the same engine professional auditors rely on. It checks real pages at both mobile and desktop widths and maps every issue to WCAG 2.2 and EN 301 549 standards, explaining them in plain English.
The app automatically fixes common problems like image descriptions, contrast issues, tap targets, colour-only links, focus rings, and motion. It also labels unnamed buttons. Every correction is verified through re-testing before application, so nothing breaks your store.
Your live theme stays untouched—all fixes go into a duplicate theme you can preview and publish when ready. Remedy maintains a timestamped evidence record of issues found, fixed, and still open, which you can export as a PDF for compliance documentation.
