About the Profit Guard ‑ Protect Margins

Profit Guard automatically checks every discount code against your margin rules the moment it's created or updated. If a discount would push margins below your minimum threshold, the app can disable it, reduce it to a safe level, or send you a notification to review. You control the rules and choose how they're enforced. Set flexible margin rules by collection, product, tag, or store-wide with priority levels. Product data can come from Shopify, CSV upload, or a fixed markup percentage. The built-in discount simulator lets you preview margin impact before any discount goes live. The app includes A/B testing to compare discount strategies and track which ones perform best. Additional storefront components like announcement banners, progress bars, and quantity buttons help you protect margins while testing what works for your store.
