About the PriceProof: Price Proof

PriceProof automatically records your catalog's price history from installation, helping you comply with strikethrough "was" price regulations in the UK, Australia, Canada, and Japan. The app checks each was-price claim against published benchmarks for your selected markets and flags any claims your recorded history doesn't support, explaining why in plain language. Schedule sales ahead of time by setting a sale price with start and end dates in your shop's timezone—PriceProof applies and reverts changes automatically. If you manually edit prices during a scheduled sale, the app won't overwrite your changes. Export audit CSV reports of your raw price history for compliance records. Display a storefront 'verified' badge on products backed by your price history. Settings can be exported as JSON and imported to other stores with a preview before applying changes. All features are free during Early Access. This is a record-keeping and checking tool, not legal advice.
