About the Gentry: Require PO Numbers
This app blocks B2B checkout until buyers enter a PO number, ensuring every order includes the purchase order reference needed for invoice approval and faster payment. Since Shopify's B2B checkout makes PO numbers optional by default, orders often arrive without the information your buyer's accounts payable team requires.
The app only affects orders placed for a company, leaving direct-to-consumer checkout unchanged. It works on every Shopify plan with B2B features. Display custom messages under the PO field to guide buyers through the requirement.
On Shopify Plus, require specific PO formats including prefixes, length requirements, or patterns. Set different PO rules for individual companies or locations, or exempt certain buyers entirely. Messages can be customized per language for international B2B customers.
