About the Pay Sync
Pay Sync connects your Shopify POS to card terminals in South Africa. When the cashier taps the Pay Sync tile, the sale total automatically goes to the terminal at that till—nothing needs to be retyped. The bank's response is saved on every Shopify order, including the RRN, authorisation code, terminal ID, masked card details and transaction outcome. POS returns are processed as refunds sent directly back to the customer's original card. Each night, Pay Sync reconciles every till against your terminal provider's report and flags any orphan payments, amount mismatches or unsent refunds that need attention. You can test everything in Simulator mode before going live.
