Access Audit Guard shows which installed apps—including AI assistants—can read customer data or order information in your Shopify store. Every app requests scopes when installed, and this tool classifies each granted scope to flag protected customer data access and broad write permissions.
The app scores your store's access risk from Low to High, with higher scores meaning safer configurations. It identifies apps that can read or write customer data, tracks staff and collaborator access with 30 and 90-day review reminders, and sends drift alerts when scopes, owners, or costs change after scheduled audits.
