About the Missing Cost Audit
Missing Cost Audit finds products with no cost per item in your Shopify store and shows how much profit gets incorrectly reported. When variants lack cost data, Shopify records sales as $0.00 cost and books everything as profit without warning you.
The free version has no SKU limit and helps you find every variant missing costs, see recent revenue affected, and export the list. Keep plan ($29) adds margin ranges, lets you set costs in-app, import cost history, and get alerts. Pro plan ($79) includes price list import, auto-restore, and landed cost calculations.
The app ranks gaps by their impact on your margin reports and calculates real margin using the actual cost in effect on each sale day. You can set costs directly from the ranked list and receive alerts when new cost gaps appear in your catalogue.
