About the Mint Gift
Mint Gift lets customers mark their orders as gifts right from the cart page or cart drawer. Shoppers can add a gift checkbox, write a personalized gift message with a character limit and live counter, and select from gift wrap options that appear with pictures. Each gift wrap choice gets added to the order as its own item, so taxes and packing slips work normally.
The app includes smart checkout validation that stops messages exceeding your character limit and prevents gift wrap from being purchased on its own or added twice. You can control when gift options appear by limiting them to specific products, product types, or product tags. This gives you flexibility to offer gift services only where it makes sense for your store.
Gift details save directly on the cart and display on the order for easy fulfillment. You can also print gift receipts without showing amounts, either from a single order or multiple orders at once, making it simple to include the right documentation with gift shipments.
