About the Mint Access
Mint Access scans your Shopify store for real accessibility issues against WCAG 2.2 AA standards without adding any overlay script to your site. The app checks your home, product, collection, cart and search pages for common accessibility problems including missing alt text on images, unnamed links and buttons, unlabelled form fields, low colour contrast, blocked zoom, missing page language, heading issues and autoplaying media. Each accessibility issue is organized by WCAG criterion with severity levels and clear fix steps in plain English. The built-in AI suggests alt text for product images that you can review and approve before publishing. You also get an accessibility statement generator to add to your store pages. This tool helps you identify and fix accessibility problems to improve your store, but it's not a legal certification or compliance guarantee.
