Maru fixes the searches your Shopify store is losing with smart SKU and barcode matching. Exact SKU matches always rank first, while partial input and typo correction ensure customers find products even with incomplete or misspelled searches. The search ranking learns from your sales data to show the most relevant results. Installation is simple: add one theme block with no code edits required. When you uninstall, there are no leftovers, and the app automatically falls back to Shopify's default search. Maru handles plurals, accents, and multiple scripts including Japanese (ひらがな/カタカナ/漢字). It detects your published locales and indexes each language separately for accurate multilingual search. Sync health is monitored in your admin panel and auto-checked every 6 hours to detect and repair any gaps. Flat monthly pricing with no usage fees, and support responds within 12 hours.
