About the MarginTruth

MarginTruth gives you accurate profit margins without rebuilding everything in spreadsheets. This app breaks down your monthly margins term by term, showing exactly which Shopify field each number came from and when it was read. Unlike other tools, MarginTruth never counts missing data as zero. When a term like unit cost isn't available, it's clearly marked as missing along with the affected product. Your totals are flagged as incomplete so you always know what's accurate and what's not. Every order gets reconciled against Shopify's published net amount. Instead of hiding discrepancies, the app shows you the gap so nothing gets absorbed or overlooked. Cancellations happen right inside the app in one action, with prorated credit automatically calculated for any unused portion.
